We received updated pictures of Pennsylvania girls, Emma & Mia. Emma smiles all the time, just like her Mamma Laney. Mia loves to shake and looks so much like her Daddy Eddy! They are just beautiful, and it's wonderful that they have grown up together! (Mia is pictured on the left, and Emma on the right)

We have received some very sad news. Manny, who lived with his family in NE, is from our December 2008 litter. Last month he was hit by a car and passed away. He will be missed by many. RIP Manny, we loved you bunches.

Abby is from our December 2008 litter, and lives in WY. Her parents say that she is very playful

and curious. The pictures are after her bath, as she got some black soot on her face and top of her head!

Baxter's new family sent this in an email for Laney & Eddy........
Hi Mom and Dad:
I wanted to write finally and tell you about my new life. It's going great!!! They tell me I'm a bossy little puppy, but I think they love me. Something was recently said that if they love me any more they will have to paint me red, sell their house and move to Birdwell Island. That happened shortly after I went to the vet to get my 9 week shots. I weigh 7 & 1/2 pounds now! The vet said not to worry - puppies do that (GROW!). I started puppy kindergarten now and I love my new
friends. One is a little Maltese that looks a lot like one of my chew toys. I just wanted to play - honest!!! Then they introduced me to a 4-month old Rottweiller puppy-he just wanted to play too (yikes!). Guess what; they have this really funny cat living here! He doesn't
ever seem to want to play (something about being 14 years old?). He just wanders around the house grumbling, "why did they have to go and get a bad dog when they already have a good cat?" I don't know why he thinks
he's so good-he hardly ever obeys like I do (sometimes). They seem to be really happy that I like to go potty outside - really it's a trick - I just like to
be outside, and they take me out just about every time I ask. They have the coolest snow here-you can bury your head and find leaves on the bottom! They seem to think I look funny with ice crystals all over my face. My new family wanted you to know that they think you did a really great job starting me out. They were surprised when I already seemed to know the universal food sound. Also my ears are finally going up. One is all the way up, and they really seem to love it when I wiggle the floppy one and cock my head while I'm trying to figure something out. Bye for now. Love, Baxter
Well we are way more than spoiled. We now sleep in the bed. But we have not figured out what it means to sleep in. We retrieve really good, then give a small bark to go outside and play in the snow. We think the motorcycle is just not all bad either. We look out of the jacket and just have fun. Very happy little girl. Named her Drifter, boy does she love drifts.

Hey there, I just wanted to write you both to tell you that Zoey is doing great. She just went for her Vet check up last night and got her booster shot. She is not a fan of the car rides though. She is adjusting well to living with us. I come home from lunch to let her out and play with her to tire her out for an afternoon nap until my daughter gets home. She's doing great in the crate. No accidents yet. She uses the puppy pads very well. She just need to work on her aim a little. LOL My cats are terrified of her which we get a kick out of because she is half their size. She chases them trying to get them to play and they run faster than I've ever seen. They seem very curious and sniff her but, no fights yet. It seems to be going well. I want to thank you for making the process easy. You did a great job raising her and I am shocked at how well she was trained at this age. Thanks again and I will keep you updated.
Thanks Again
Tracy
Storm is doing just great. He slept through the first night. Foxxy and Storm play together very well. Of course Foxxy adopted the motherly role. Storm loves playing and running in the snow. I tried to get some good pictures for you but getting him to stay still is asking the impossible. My grandson said that "Storm is the best dog God ever made" and then he said "Thank you God". To say the least Storm is loved by all.

Hello Annette and Jim! I just wanted to give you guys an update on dear little Maggie! She has finally settled in and loves to be picked up and carried around the house as I am doing things. She follows me where ever I go and loves to play fetch with her new favorite toy. She is actually sleeping through the night and not whining at all until about 5:30am when she begins to let out this little howl.
Nick and I have actually changed her name, we decided that Zoe fit her better after meeting her! So little Zoe is fitting into her new environment very nicely!
You guys have done a wonderful job with this litter, and I just want to thank you again from the bottom of my heart for making this experience a wonderful one! We love our new puppy very much!
Thank you again,
Erin

Shiya's new family sent this on an email postcard for Laney & Eddy.......
Dear Mom & Dad,
I'm doing great with my new family in Wisconsin. You would be sooo proud of me!!!
I'm trying very hard to be a good girl!
I slept through the night right away,
I go potty outside....... (most of the time),
I love play..... (especially with the Cats),...... they say I was the perfect addition to their family!
I love to go swimming in the pool and I have even learned to use the pool ladder to get out when I am done.... they think that I'm a very smart puppy!
I'll write again soon!
Love,
Shiya
Picture of Shiya, who loves to play in the snow!
Here are some more pictures, he is such a ball of fun, we all love him. And because of our different schedules, someone is always home with him. The longest time he was left alone was when all of us went to a movie. But he's been great, potty training is going well, and he just wants to please us. Thanks again.
Dana
Buffy is the cutest little puppy. She's so lovable. I love having her.
Thanks,
Elaine
Hi guys!
I just thought I'd drop you a line to let you know how Tabby is doing. She's settling in beautifully. Rick, the girls, I and all the neighbors absolutely love her! She's sleeping on the floor right now (on her back with her paws in the air). (The male eskimo we had when we first got married used to do that all the time.) The potty training is going OK. She's getting better at letting us know when she wants to go out and we're getting better at picking up on the signs that she needs to go out. I'm not sure that she walked anywhere on her own the first week we had her as someone was always carrying her. She's chewing on everything that gets near her mouth (normal puppy). She's walking on a leash very well. Last night Rick got her to sit quietly and take a treat very gently. She's been sleeping pretty well. She usually goes down for the night around 11:30 - midnight and we don't hear from her until daylight. I need to get some pictures off the camera so I can send them to you!
I hope all is well with you!
Debbie
Little boy blue is such a joy. He is doing very well. He is fun, he gets along with the other animals and he loves it outside. We kept his name. I will send you some pictures next week. Thank you so very much.
